2D Profilng

2D profiling is when you cut either inside or outside an object, to a specific depth. A software package determines an offset, determined by the diameter of the cutter chosen.

2D profiling can be to any depth using any router cutter, therefore creating a slot, or a mould shape, (if a moulded shaped cutter is used).

Note: Any internal corner will have a radius no smaller than half the diameter of the cutter used).
